U Microfinance Bank’s Term Finance Certificates Set for Delisting

Karachi: The U Microfinance Bank Limited’s Term Finance Certificates (UMBLTFC1) are scheduled for delisting from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) following the complete early redemption of the principal amount and the payment of accrued profit. This decision will be effective from Tuesday, February 3, 2026, as confirmed by the bank and supported by an auditor’s certificate.

The delisting announcement follows a prior notice, PSX/N-1212, issued on December 17, 2024. The bank confirmed the early redemption via a letter dated December 18, 2025, signaling the conclusion of all outstanding financial obligations related to these certificates.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the delisting decision marks a significant move in the management of the bank’s financial instruments, ensuring the alignment of its strategic financial objectives. The redemption and subsequent delisting underscore the bank’s commitment to fulfilling its financial commitments promptly.

The designated market category for these certificates, known as UMBLTFC1, reflects their role in the broader financial landscape of Pakistan’s microfinance sector. This move comes as part of broader efforts to streamline financial operations and optimize the bank’s financial standing in the market.
