Karachi: United Bank Limited (UBL) has announced the successful disbursement of its first interim cash dividend of Rs.11 per share, or 110%, for the fiscal year 2025. This dividend, declared by the bank’s Board of Directors during a meeting on April 16, 2025, has been credited directly to the bank accounts designated by the shareholders entitled to receive it.

The bank has withheld the dividend for shareholders who have not yet submitted copies of their valid Computerized National Identity Cards (CNIC) or passport numbers, as well as the complete details of their designated bank accounts (IBAN). This action is in compliance with Regulation No. 06 of the Companies (Distribution of Dividends) Regulations, 2017, and Section 242 (3) of the Companies Act, 2017.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the Central Depository Company of Pakistan Ltd (CDC) has launched an eService web portal. This platform provides shareholders with detailed information regarding cash dividends paid, Zakat and tax deductions, and any unpaid or withheld dividends by listed companies. The Centralized Cash Dividend Register (CCDR) also maintains a history of dividends paid to shareholders.

Shareholders can access the CCDR through the portal at https://csp.cdcaccess.com.pk. UBL encourages its shareholders to register for the CDC's eService facility to access these resources. Shareholders who have yet to provide their valid CNICs and bank account details are urged to do so. For book-entry securities in the Central Depository System (CDS), the required information should be updated with CDS Participations. For physical securities, updates should be directed to the Share Registrar and Transfer Agent of the bank, M/s. THK Associates (Pvt.) Limited, located in Karachi.

Shareholders who have not received their dividend are advised to contact the bank's Share Registrar at the aforementioned address, providing their Folio or CDC Account Number in a written request.
