Karachi: United Insurance Company of Pakistan Limited has successfully disbursed an interim cash dividend of Rs. 2 per share, which corresponds to a 20% payout, for the second quarter that ended on June 30, 2024. The dividends were electronically transferred to shareholders on September 25, 2024.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the dividends were credited directly into the bank accounts of those shareholders who have provided electronic mandates with complete 24-digit IBAN numbers.

In compliance with the Companies Act, 2017, United Insurance has withheld dividends for shareholders who have failed to provide valid IBAN numbers or an updated copy of their CNIC. The company’s decision reflects its commitment to adhere strictly to regulatory requirements and ensure proper disbursement of dividends.

Shareholders affected by the withholding can update their records to receive their dividends. The management has also notified TRE Certificate Holders of the Exchange regarding the update in dividend disbursement.
