Karachi: In a recent disclosure under the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) Regulation 5.6.4, Waves Corporation Limited announced notable transactions involving its shares. On March 10, 2025, the company revealed that key figures within its executive framework engaged in the buying and selling of shares, impacting the overall shareholding structure.
The transactions were executed by Nighat Haroon Khan, a non-executive director of Waves Corporation Limited. On January 29, 2025, Ms. Khan participated in two significant transactions involving a total of 2,704,000 shares. The initial transaction saw Ms. Khan purchasing shares at a rate of 8.85 per share through the Central Depository Company (CDC) in the Negotiated Deal Market (NDM). This purchase increased her cumulative shareholding to 20,036,411 shares, representing 7.12% of the company's total shares.
On the same day, Ms. Khan also executed a sale of an equal number of shares, 2,704,000, at a slightly lower rate of 8.70 per share, in the CDC Ready market. This sale brought her cumulative shareholding down to 17,332,411 shares, accounting for 6.61% of the company's shares.
