The meeting is scheduled to take place at the company’s registered office in Lahore. This year's meeting will address several key items, including the approval of the audited financial statements and the reappointment of auditors.
The AGM will focus on standard annual business practices. These include confirming the minutes from the last meeting held on October 27, 2023, and adopting the audited financial accounts for the year ended June 30, 2024. Additionally, the company will present the reports from its directors and auditors. Another significant point on the agenda is the appointment of auditors for the new fiscal year ending June 30, 2025, and setting their remuneration.
According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), shareholders intending to attend the meeting must adhere to specific guidelines issued by the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan. This includes presenting the original Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC) and ensuring that proxies, if appointed, are submitted within the stipulated timeframe.
Furthermore, the company’s share transfer books will be closed from October 21 to October 28, 2024, to facilitate the annual processes. Shareholders must ensure their transfers are registered by October 20, 2024, to participate in the forthcoming AGM. Any changes in shareholder address or contact information must be reported alongside a valid copy of the CNIC to ensure accuracy in the company’s records.
