Karachi, In compliance with Section 159(4) of the Companies Act, 2017, Askari Life Assurance Company Limited has announced the candidates for its director elections scheduled to occur during the Annual General Meeting on April 24, 2024.

The candidates listed for election include Lt Gen Nauman Mahmood (Retd), Mr. Rizwan Ullah Khan, Maj Gen Kamran Ali (Retd), Mr. Malik Riffat Mahmood, Mr. Tariq Hameed, Ayesha Rafique, and Javed Yunus. Mr. Hameed and Ms. Rafique are designated as independent directors, recognized for their diverse experience and competencies which meet the criteria set under Section 166 of the Companies Act and relevant regulations.
