Karachi, Waves Corporation Pakistan and Waves Home Appliances Ltd., both integral to the home appliance sector, reported EPS of Rs. 0.63* and Rs. 0.18* respectively for the first quarter of 2024. Despite substantial turnovers of 53,962,500 and 39,893,000 units respectively, neither company declared dividends for the period. Both firms have maintained a consistent approach with no dividend payouts in the previous years as well. Waves Corporation Pakistan, trading under the symbol WAVES since 1985, and Waves Home Appliances Ltd., listed as WAVESAPP since 1994, continue their operations with substantial paid-up capitals of Rs. 2,814.06 million and Rs. 2,678.85 million respectively.
