Karachi, First Habib Modaraba, managed by Habib Metropolitan Modaraba Management Company (Private) Limited, held a board meeting on April 25, 2024, to approve its financial results for the nine months ending March 31, 2024. The meeting confirmed that no dividends, bonus shares, rights shares, or other entitlements will be issued.

The company's income from lease financing stood at 38,523,599 rupees for the quarter, while income from diminishing musharaka financing reached 1,270,806,711 rupees. However, provisions for diminishing musharaka financing and administrative expenses amounted to 37,644,896 rupees and 52,576,597 rupees, respectively.

Additional revenue streams included other income totaling 68,849,999 rupees for the quarter. The company also incurred financial charges and remuneration for the Modaraba Management Company, which amounted to 901,144,370 rupees and 34,829,085 rupees, respectively. A provision for Workers' Welfare Fund was made, totaling 6,178,679 rupees.

Before taxation, the profit stood at 302,755,302 rupees for the quarter. After accounting for taxation, which was 118,774,399 rupees, the net profit for the period amounted to 183,980,903 rupees. The earnings per certificate for the quarter were calculated at 0.83 rupees.
