Karachi: United Bank Limited (UBL) has announced a forthcoming book closure period from July 21, 2024, to July 28, 2024, to determine entitlements for the 22nd quarterly coupon payment on its Additional Tier 1 (AT1) Term Finance Certificates (TFCs). The coupon payment is scheduled for July 29, 2024, as detailed in a recent notification to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX).

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the transfer books will remain closed to facilitate the accurate distribution of coupon payments. Transfers received at M/s. THK Associates (Pvt.) Limited, the designated registrar and share/certificate transfer agent for UBL, by the close of business on July 19, 2024, will be eligible for the coupon payment.

The payment to TFC holders will be processed via electronic bank transfers or pay orders on the first working day following the book closure period. This approach ensures timely and secure delivery of payments to investors entitled to receive them.
