SPEL Limited to Convene 44th Annual General Meeting in Lahore

Lahore: SPEL Limited has officially announced that its 44th Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held on October 9, 2026, at 3:30 PM at the ICMA Pakistan Building located on Ferozepur Road, Lahore. This meeting will provide a platform for shareholders to discuss and approve various business matters concerning the company.

The agenda for the meeting includes the consideration and adoption of the audited financial statements for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2026. Shareholders will review the Directors' and Auditors' Reports alongside the Chairman's Review Report. Additionally, the Board of Directors has recommended a final cash dividend of Rs. 0.5 per share, translating to 10%, for approval. This is in addition to an interim dividend of the same amount that has already been distributed to shareholders.

Another significant item on the agenda is the appointment of auditors for the financial year 2026-27. The Board, following the recommendation of its Audit Committee, has proposed M/s RSM Avais Hyder Liaquat Nauman, Chartered Accountants, for this role.

Shareholders listed in the Register of Members as of October 2, 2026, are entitled to attend and vote at the AGM. Proxy arrangements are also available for those unable to attend in person. The company has provided a downloadable proxy form on its website and stipulates that completed proxy instruments must be submitted 48 hours before the meeting.
