Meezan Pakistan ETF Begins Portfolio Rebalancing Process

Karachi: The Meezan Pakistan Exchange Traded Fund (MZNPETF) has initiated a rebalancing of its portfolio starting July 4, 2024, in compliance with Section 96 of the Securities Act, 2015 and Clause 5.6.1(a) of the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) Regulations.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the rebalancing process is a routine adjustment to the ETF's asset allocation to align with its investment objectives and market conditions. During this period, the indicative net asset value (iNAV) of the fund will continue to be reported based on the previous asset basket, which may not accurately reflect the current value of the underlying assets.

The management of MZNPETF has assured stakeholders that they will be duly informed once the rebalancing is complete. This process is critical to maintaining the fund's performance and compliance with its stated investment strategies.

Investors and TRE Certificate Holders of the exchange have been advised to take note of these changes and adjust their expectations and strategies accordingly during this transition period.
