Karachi: A substantial incident was reported today at the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) involving Mr. Muhammad Saleem, a shareholder who has declared the loss of 75 share certificates. These certificates collectively represent 7,500 shares across various sequences and certificate numbers.

Mr. Saleem's lost certificates span a wide range of distinctive numbers, with certificate details as follows: from 3382201 to 3382300 for 100 shares, up to sequences such as 3664101 to 3664600 covering 500 shares. The lost documents include significant chunks like 3638801 to 3639200 and 4110701 to 4111100, each set accounting for 400 shares.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), an indemnity has been received from Mr. Saleem concerning these certificates. This legal safeguard is a critical step in protecting both the shareholder's interests and those of the issuing company, allowing for the reissuance of these certificates if no claims are made against the lost items.
