Karachi: In a recent update from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), a revised list of securities eligible as market collateral for the Deliverable Future Contract (DFC) Market has been released, set to take effect on July 29, 2024. This announcement follows the official notice PSX/N-680 issued on July 19, 2024.

The National Clearing Company of Pakistan Limited (NCCPL) has aligned this update with clause 12.5.2 (a) and Schedule II clause “C” of Chapter 12 of the NCCPL Regulations 2015. According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the update includes various well-known companies across different sectors. Notable firms listed include AGHA Steel Industries Ltd., AGRITECH LIMITED, and ADAMJEE INSURANCE COMPANY LIMITED. Financial institutions like ASKARI BANK LIMITED and MCB BANK LIMITED also feature prominently on the list.

Other significant entries include AIR LINK COMMUNICATION LIMITED, ATTOCK PETROLEUM LIMITED, and ENGRO CORPORATION LIMITED, among others. The inclusion of these companies reflects their credibility and the robustness of their financial health, making them suitable as market collateral.
