Karachi: In a series of notices issued today, Famco Share Registration Services (Pvt) Limited announced the loss of share certificates from multiple prominent companies including Lotte Chemical Pakistan Limited, Pakistan Tobacco Company Limited, FrieslandCampina Engro Pakistan Limited, Engro Polymer and Chemicals Limited, and Engro Corporation Limited.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the detailed reports show that the lost certificates span various folios and shareholders, with each company setting a seven-day window for any objections before issuing duplicates.

For Lotte Chemical Pakistan Limited, the lost certificate for Mr. Mohammad Kamil, residing at Faran Housing Society in Karachi, involves 150 shares under certificate number 33761, with distinctive numbers ranging from 14103528 to 14103677, reported on August 12, 2024.

Similarly, Pakistan Tobacco Company Limited reported a loss for Mr. Mallick Mohd Jabir Rahmani, detailed with 11 shares and distinctive numbers from 12903716 to 12903726, located at Rahman Cottage in Karachi.

FrieslandCampina Engro Pakistan Limited's loss involves an extensive list of certificates owned by Mr. Azmat Hayat Bhatti in Lahore, detailing 4,000 shares spread over eight certificate numbers from 10577 to 10584, affecting distinctive numbers from 218275981 to 218279980.

Engro Polymer and Chemicals Limited reported a loss for Ms. Victoria, involving 500 shares under certificate number 2362, with distinctive numbers from 456185373 to 456185872, located at D.H.A., Phase - 6, Karachi.

Lastly, Engro Corporation Limited’s notice mentioned Mrs. Nafisa Faruqui from Defence Phase 5, Karachi, with a report detailing losses across multiple certificate numbers and distinctive numbers, impacting a total of 299 shares.

The companies urge members of the Exchange to refrain from dealing with these certificates and have promised to issue duplicates if no objections are raised within the specified period.
