Karachi: Sally Textile Mills Limited has disclosed several share transactions involving key executive and non-executive directors of the company. According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), these transactions were reported in compliance with the PSX Regulations, particularly clause No. 5.6.1.(d).
Mian Iqbal Salahuddin, an executive director at Sally Textile Mills, engaged in the purchase of shares on two separate occasions. On August 8, 2024, he bought 80,500 shares at a rate of PKR 5.96 per share. Following this, on September 2024, he acquired an additional 10,000 shares priced at PKR 5.00 each. Both transactions were carried out through the Central Depository Company (CDC) and were labeled as 'Ready' in market terms.
Furthermore, Mian Asad Salahuddin, holding a non-executive director role, purchased 15,849 shares on September 2024, with a rate of PKR 6.00 per share. Another executive director, Mian Yousaf Salahuddin, completed a transaction on August 12, 2024, buying 16,000 shares at a rate of PKR 5.87 each.
The company confirmed that all aforementioned transactions will be presented at the subsequent board meeting. They will also review any non-compliances as required by the PSX regulations. In cases where the holding period for these transactions is less than six months, the profits will be surrendered to the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP), as stipulated under Section 105 of the Securities Act, 2015.
