Searle Company Executive Reports Stock Purchase Amid Regulatory Compliance

Karachi: The Searle Company Limited has disclosed a significant transaction involving Moujood Ul Hassan, an executive of the company, who purchased shares on August 19, 2024.

Moujood Ul Hassan acquired 240 shares at a rate of 55.70 per share through the Central Depository Company (CDC), with the transaction executed in the ready market. This move by an executive member underscores active participation and confidence in the company’s prospects from within its own leadership ranks.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the transaction will be reviewed in the forthcoming board meeting to ensure all dealings align with clause No. 5.6.1(d) of the PSX Regulations. The company has committed to addressing any potential non-compliance issues that might arise from this transaction.

Furthermore, the company confirms adherence to the Securities Act of 2015, ensuring that if the holding period for the shares is less than six months, any profits realized will be reconciled through a cheque to the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP), demonstrating Searle’s ongoing commitment to regulatory compliance and transparency.
