Karachi: An executive at Mari Petroleum Company Limited has disclosed transactions involving company shares, according to a statement from the firm. According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the transactions were conducted on September 5 and 6, 2024, and will be reviewed in the next board meeting as mandated by PSX Regulations.
Muhammad Rashid, an executive of the company, purchased 86 shares at a rate of Rs. 3,641.7 per share on September 5, 2024, and an additional 28 shares at Rs. 3,634 per share on September 6, 2024. All shares were bought in the ready market and are held in the Central Depository Company (CDC) form.
The company confirmed that these transactions adhere to the regulatory requirements under clause 5.6.4 of PSX Regulations. It also assured that if the holding period for these transactions is less than six months, any profit derived will be surrendered to the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP), in compliance with Section 105 of the Securities Act, 2015, with a corresponding intimation to PSX.
