Significant Transactions Reported by Trust Modaraba on Pakistan Stock Exchange

Karachi: Trust Modaraba disclosed substantial transactions by Mrs. Noor Khan Bano, the widow of the late Mr. Aslam Motiwala. These transactions occurred on September 9, 2024, involving the sale of Trust Modaraba certificates.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the transactions detailed in the disclosure indicate that a total of 11,475,000 certificates were sold across nine separate transactions, varying in rate from PKR 4.76 to PKR 5.58. These sales were all conducted in the ready market and documented through the Central Depository Company (CDC).

The largest single transaction involved the sale of 9,739,731 certificates at a rate of PKR 4.76, marking it as the most substantial exchange in terms of volume. Other notable transactions include the sale of 1,122,609 certificates at PKR 4.81 and smaller volumes sold at progressively higher rates, culminating in the sale of 2,100 certificates at PKR 5.58.

These transactions represent significant trading activity by an individual investor in the certificates of Trust Modaraba, highlighting a potentially influential shift in ownership stakes within the company.
