Karachi: Al Shaheer Corporation Limited (ASC), a company listed on the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), has been flagged for disciplinary action due to non-compliance with regulatory requirements. This development was reported on September 22, 2026, and involves ASC's failure to pay outstanding penalties imposed by the PSX under Regulation 5.21.1.
According to PSX Regulation 5.11.1.(d), a listed company can be placed in the Non-Compliant Segment if it fails to pay annual listing fees for two years, any penalty imposed by the Exchange, or any other dues payable to the Exchange. ASC, already in the Non-Compliant Segment because of a Disclaimer of Opinion by its auditor, has now had this additional non-compliance noted in the Daily Quotations of the Exchange, effective September 23, 2026.
According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), ASC is required to address this non-compliance within 90 days, setting a compliance deadline of December 21, 2026. Should ASC fail to rectify the non-compliance within this period, PSX Regulation 5.11.3.(d) mandates further actions, which may include issuing a Risk Warning Alert against the company.
This notification serves as an advisory to all market participants and stakeholders to take note of ASC's current standing and the potential implications of continued non-compliance.
