Islamabad: Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited has reported the loss of two share certificates, as per an official notice circulated to shareholders and relevant market bodies on June 9, 2024.
The lost share certificates, bearing distinctive numbers 141040901 through 141040900 and 141040101 through 141041100, were held by Mr. Mohammad Yamin Siddiqui, residing at House No. 189-B, Street No. 50, Sector F-10/4, Islamabad. Each certificate represented 100 shares of the company, totaling 200 shares.
According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the company has advised its shareholders and the broader market not to engage in any transactions involving these certificates pending a thorough investigation. Should there be no objections received within 7 days of the notice's publication, the company will issue duplicate certificates to Mr. Siddiqui to mitigate any potential financial loss.
