Karachi: A revised trading and settlement schedule has been announced for the deliverable future contracts (DFC) of Dolmen City REIT, due to the company's announcement of its book closure date. The changes affect the contracts for September 2024 (DFC-SEP-2024), October 2024 (DFC-OCT-2024), and November 2024 (DFC-NOV-2024), as per the previous notifications issued by the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) under PSX/N-674, PSX/N-724, and PSX/N-840.
The trading and settlement schedule for the contracts on a cum-benefit basis will proceed as follows:
- SEPB Contract: Opened on July 19, 2024 (Friday), closing on September 23, 2024 (Monday), and settlement on September 25, 2024 (Wednesday).
- OCT Contract: Opened on July 29, 2024 (Monday), closing on September 23, 2024 (Monday), and settlement on September 25, 2024 (Wednesday).
- NOV Contract: Opened on September 2, 2024 (Monday), closing on September 23, 2024 (Monday), and settlement on September 25, 2024 (Wednesday).
According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the last trading day for the SEPB contract, originally set for September 27, 2024, has been changed to September 23, 2024, due to the book closure.
The ex-benefit trading and settlement schedule will be as follows:
- OCTB Contract: Opening on September 19, 2024 (Thursday), closing on October 25, 2024 (Friday), with settlement on October 29, 2024 (Tuesday).
- NOVB Contract: Opening on September 19, 2024 (Thursday), closing on November 29, 2024 (Friday), with settlement on December 3, 2024 (Tuesday).
The PSX has noted that trades taking place under the OCTB and NOVB contracts will not be eligible for any benefits and will be traded on an ex-benefit basis. Additionally, the rollover period for these contracts will span three trading days, from September 19, 2024, to September 23, 2024.
The PSX reserves the right to alter or adjust the aforementioned dates if necessary.
