Islamabad: On September 19, 2024, a share certificate belonging to Mr. Pervaiz Lakhani for Engro Polymer and Chemicals Limited was reported lost, as per the notification by Famco Share Registration Services (Pvt) Limited.

The certificate, with distinctive numbers 520871573 to 520871709, represents 137 shares, according to the filing with Famco. The loss notification has prompted a standard security procedure, urging members of the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) to refrain from transacting with the said certificate to prevent fraudulent activities.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the usual protocol is to issue duplicate certificates if no objection is raised within seven days of the announcement.
