Karachi: The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) has extended the trading suspension for Zeal Pak Cement Factory Limited due to ongoing non-compliance issues. The suspension, which will continue for an additional 60 days starting from September 27, 2024, follows the company's failure to hold Annual General Meetings, submit annual audited accounts, and settle dues with the exchange.
According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), this decision was taken under the authority granted by Sub-Section (7) of Section 19 of the Securities Act, 2015, and PSX Regulations 5.11. The extended suspension is aimed at ensuring the company addresses these regulatory shortcomings.
Zeal Pak Cement Factory Limited, which has been under scrutiny for its failure to comply with required financial and operational standards, must rectify these issues to resume trading.
