KAPCO Announces 28th Annual General Meeting and Proposes 85% Total Dividend for FY 2024

Karachi: Kot Addu Power Company (KAPCO) is set to hold its 28th Annual General Meeting (AGM) where shareholders will confirm the minutes of the 12th Extraordinary General Meeting held earlier this month on October 2, 2024. The AGM, scheduled for this fiscal year-end, will also focus on the adoption of annual audited accounts and other significant shareholder decisions.

Shareholders are expected to review and adopt the annual audited financial statements for the year ended June 30, 2024, including reports from directors and auditors. A critical item on the agenda is the approval of a final cash dividend of Rs. 4.00 per share, which equates to 40% for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2024. This proposed final dividend comes in addition to the interim dividend of Rs. 4.50 per share (45%) already distributed, bringing the total cash dividend for the year to Rs. 8.50 per share or 85%.
