Karachi: Cnergyico Pk Limited, a prominent entity in the energy sector, has announced its 30th Annual General Meeting (AGM) scheduled to take place on Thursday, 24th October 2024. The meeting will be held at Karachi. Additionally, the company is offering a video-link facility for shareholders who cannot attend in person.
The agenda for the meeting includes confirming the minutes of the previous Annual General Meeting held on 27th October 2023, and the Extraordinary General Meeting that took place on 26th March 2024. Shareholders will also review and adopt the audited unconsolidated and consolidated financial statements for the financial year that ended on 30th June 2024, which include the Directors' and Auditors' reports.
According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), a key item on the agenda is the reappointment of Messrs Yousuf Adil, Chartered Accountants, as the company’s auditors for the upcoming financial year ending 30th June 2025. The remuneration for the auditors will also be fixed during the meeting.
The company has also opened the floor for any other business that may arise, with the approval of the Chair. Shareholders who wish to attend the meeting must ensure their names appear in the register of members as of 15th October 2024. Additionally, the register of members and the share transfer books of the company will remain closed from 16th October 2024 to 24th October 2024, both days inclusive.
Participation through the video conference facility is encouraged, in line with the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan's directive. Shareholders interested in this option need to register by providing their details to the company secretary by 22nd October 2024. This move is aimed at increasing accessibility and participation in the meeting, reflecting modern corporate governance practices.
