Karachi: Sindh Modaraba will conduct its 10th Annual Review Meeting for certificate holders on October 25, 2024, at Karachi. The meeting is set to discuss the financial performance for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2024, as per the regulations established by the Prudential Regulations for Modaraba.
The company has declared a final cash dividend of 12.50%, equating to Rs.1.25 per certificate, following a review of its year-end financial outcomes. This decision was made in compliance with clause 20 of the Prudential Regulations for Modaraba, initially set forth in Circular number 4/2004 by the Registrar Modaraba Companies and Modarabas.
According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the dividend announcement comes in conjunction with the closure of the Modaraba Certificate transfer book, scheduled from October 18 to October 25, 2024. This closure is to determine the certificate holders eligible to receive dividends and participate in the forthcoming review meeting. Transfer requests submitted by the close of business on October 17 will be processed in time for dividend entitlement.
In preparation for the meeting, certificate holders have been advised to update their registration details if necessary. Additionally, Central Depository Company (CDC) certificate holders intending to attend the meeting are required to bring their original CNIC, along with their Account and Participant’s ID number, for identity verification purposes.
The meeting follows the approval from last year's review meeting to distribute annual audited financial statements digitally. The Modaraba has provided a QR code and a Weblink to facilitate access to these documents, ensuring transparency and ease of access for all stakeholders.
