Leather Up Limited Announces Upcoming 33rd Annual General Meeting in Karachi

Karachi: Leather Up Limited has officially announced that it will hold its 33rd Annual General Meeting (AGM) for shareholders on October 28th, 2024. This significant meeting is slated to discuss essential corporate matters, including the election of directors and the review of the company’s financial statements.

Scheduled to be convened in Karachi, the AGM will address several key items. Among the primary activities, shareholders are set to confirm the minutes of the previous AGM held on October 28th, 2023. Following this, the assembly will receive and adopt the Audited Statements of Accounts for the fiscal year that concluded on June 30, 2024. According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), these documents will include detailed Directors' and Auditors' reports.

In matters of corporate governance, the meeting will proceed to appoint auditors for the upcoming fiscal year ending June 30, 2025. The current auditors, M/s. UHY Hassan Naeem, Chartered Accountants, have expressed their willingness to continue in their role, subject to shareholder approval.

Additionally, the AGM agenda includes the election of seven directors for a three-year term, as stipulated under Section 159 of the Companies Act, 2017.
