Karachi: Haleon Pakistan Limited has declared a substantial interim cash dividend and announced a brief closure of its share transfer books for November 2024, reinforcing its financial commitments to shareholders during the current fiscal year.
According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the Board of Directors of Haleon Pakistan convened on October 24, 2024, and resolved to issue an interim dividend of Rs 500 per share, which translates to a 50% dividend on ordinary shares for the quarter and nine months ending September 30, 2024. This declaration reflects the company's robust financial posture and commitment to returning value to its shareholders.
The share transfer books of the company will be closed from November 7, 2024, to November 8, 2024, inclusive of both days. During this period, no share transfers will be registered, ensuring that dividends are distributed accurately to shareholders of record as of the close of business on November 6, 2024. Share transfers received by the office of the company’s Share Registrar, COC Share Registrar Services Limited, located at Karachi, will be processed timely for the interim dividend payment.
This strategic financial maneuver is part of Haleon Pakistan’s broader fiscal policy to manage shareholder affairs effectively, aligning with regulatory guidelines stipulated under regulation No. 5.6.9 (b) of the Rule Book of Pakistan Stock Exchange. The company has prepared both English and Urdu versions of the notice for the interim cash dividend and share book closure, ensuring transparent communication with its diverse shareholder base.
