Pakistan Stock Exchange Announces Trading and Settlement Schedule for April 2025 Deliverable Future Contracts

Karachi: The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) has released the trading and settlement schedule for Deliverable Future Contracts (DFC) for the month of April 2025. Market participants are advised to take note of the schedule, which outlines key dates for trading activities and settlement processes. The opening date for the contracts is set for February 3, 2025, with trading concluding on April 25, 2025, and settlement to be finalized by April 29, 2025. The detailed list of DFC eligible securities is provided in 'Annexure A'.

The PSX retains the discretion to modify the dates or duration of the contracts if necessary. The designated market category for this announcement is Deliverable Future Contracts.

In addition to the general schedule, PSX has added several new securities to the list of eligible securities for trading in the DFC market. These include AGP Limited, Bank Makramah Limited, Crescent Steel & Allied Products Ltd, GlaxoSmithKline Pakistan Limited, Image Pakistan Limited, JS Momentum Factor ETF, and Mari Energies Limited. For these securities, trading will open on February 3, 2025, with varying closing and settlement dates depending on the specific contract month.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), certain securities, such as Ferozsons Laboratories Limited, Meezan Pakistan ETF, and Shell Pakistan Limited, are included in the list of eligible securities for DFC-APR-2025 but will be excluded thereafter.

Moreover, trading in shares of Attock Refinery Limited and Pakistan Oilfields Limited during DFC-APR-25 will be conducted on an ex-benefit basis due to their book closure dates as notified by the respective companies. Participants should be aware that these trades will not qualify for the payment of benefits.
