In an announcement dated October 2023, the company informed stakeholders that the share certificates, which were earlier believed to be misplaced by Mrs. Diana Fernandes, have now been located.
Mrs. Diana Fernandes, residing at House No. 18, Abshar Lodge, Church Street, Cutchi Memon Jamat Khana, Saddar, Karachi, had reported the loss of her share certificates. The certificates in question pertained to Folio No. 51599, covering the distinctive numbers from 370952 to 370963, and consisted of a total of 12 shares under certificate number 3857.
According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), Akzo Nobel Pakistan Limited has advised all members of the exchange to resume dealing with these certificates in the normal course. The recovery of these certificates ensures that trading can proceed without any disruptions, maintaining transparency and trust in the market.
