Hub Power Enters Electric Vehicle Charging Sector Through Subsidiary Collaboration


Karachi: The Hub Power Company Limited has announced a strategic move into the electric vehicle (EV) charging sector through its wholly owned subsidiary, Hub Power Holdings Limited. As per the disclosure made on February 14, 2025, Hub Power Holdings Limited has initiated this venture via its newly established subsidiary, HUBCO Green (Private) Limited.



This new business line focuses on setting up and operating EV charging infrastructure, including importing, manufacturing, and assembling necessary charging accessories. Hubco Green has entered into a collaboration agreement with Pakistan State Oil Company Limited (PSO) to facilitate the installation of EV charging stations across various PSO locations throughout Pakistan.



According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), this strategic alliance is expected to significantly enhance the availability of EV charging facilities in the country, supporting the growing demand for electric vehicles and contributing to Pakistan’s transition towards sustainable energy solutions.
