Karachi: Cyan Limited's Board of Directors approved its audited financial statements for the year ended December 31, 2024, during a meeting held on February 26, 2025. The company declared a final cash dividend of Rs. 1.00 per share, in addition to an interim cash dividend of Rs. 4.00 per share already disbursed, reflecting a total dividend of 50%.
The company's Annual General Meeting is scheduled for April 22, 2025, at 11:00 AM in Karachi. Shareholders registered as of April 15, 2025, will receive the dividend, with share transfer books closed from April 16 to April 22, 2025. The company's annual report will be transmitted at least 21 days before the meeting.
According to the financial results, Cyan Limited reported a net profit of Rs. 557.68 million for 2024, a notable increase from Rs. 324.60 million in 2023. Total comprehensive income for the year reached Rs. 675.59 million, up from Rs. 307.55 million in the previous year. The company's revenue for 2024 stood at Rs. 747.10 million, compared to Rs. 418.86 million in 2023.
The company's total assets increased to Rs. 2.23 billion as of December 31, 2024, from Rs. 1.64 billion in the previous year. Non-current assets accounted for Rs. 783.71 million, while current assets stood at Rs. 1.45 billion. Share capital and reserves rose to Rs. 1.96 billion from Rs. 1.54 billion in 2023.
In terms of liabilities, non-current liabilities amounted to Rs. 108.18 million, while current liabilities increased to Rs. 157.79 million. The company's return on investments was Rs. 113.53 million, and it recorded a gain of Rs. 167.63 million from the sale of investments.
Cyan Limited's operating and administrative expenses were Rs. 35.73 million, while other expenses amounted to Rs. 21.76 million. The profit before taxation was Rs. 673.95 million after accounting for a levy of Rs. 15.66 million and taxation of Rs. 116.26 million.
