Karachi: Macter International Limited has reported significant growth in its financial performance for the half-year period ending December 31, 2024. The pharmaceutical company exhibited robust increases in sales, gross profit, and net earnings, marking a period of substantial improvement compared to the same timeframe in the previous year.
Macter International's sales surged to 4,920 million, reflecting a 37% increase from the 3,581 million recorded in the first half of the previous fiscal year. This growth in sales contributed to the company's enhanced financial position, as its gross profit rose to 2,202 million, a 51% increase from the 1,454 million reported in the same period last year. The gross margin improved to 45%, up from 41%.
The company's operating profit experienced a significant upswing, reaching 625 million, which represents a 142% increase over the 258 million achieved in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal year.
