Suspension of Trading for Habib Bank Limited’s TFC Announced

Karachi: Habib Bank Limited has declared a temporary suspension of trading for its Term Finance Certificate, designated as HBLTFC3. The bank has set the Book Closure period from June 22, 2025, to June 28, 2025, to facilitate the processing of the 10th profit payment for the certificate.

In light of this announcement, the trading of HBLTFC3 will be halted from June 20, 2025, and is scheduled to resume on July 30, 2025. The decision to suspend trading was made to ensure a seamless transaction process during the Book Closure period.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the trading suspension is a routine measure taken by companies to manage administrative tasks efficiently during profit distribution periods. This suspension allows Habib Bank Limited to conduct necessary record-keeping and ensure all stakeholders receive their due profits without disruptions.
