Pakistan Stock Exchange Announces Trading Schedule for October 2025 Deliverable Future Contracts

Karachi: The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) has released the trading and settlement schedule for Deliverable Future Contracts (DFCs) for October 2025. The contracts will commence on July 28, 2025, and conclude on October 31, 2025, with the settlement date set for November 4, 2025. This schedule applies to the newly listed DFC eligible securities, as outlined by the PSX.

The PSX has introduced new securities eligible for trading in the DFC market. These include Engro Holdings Limited (ENGROH), Fast Cables Limited (FCL), Meezan Pakistan ETF (MZNPETF), and NBP Pakistan Growth ETF (NBPGETF). Trading for these securities will follow the same schedule, with contracts opening on July 28, 2025, and closing on October 31, 2025, while the settlement will occur on November 4, 2025.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), certain securities will be part of the DFC-OCT-2025 list but will not be included in the subsequent lists. These securities are JS Bank Limited (JSBL), Lalpir Power Limited (LPL), Pakistan Reinsurance Company Limited (PAKRI), and JS Momentum Factor Exchange Traded (JSMFETF).

The PSX reserves the right to alter the provided dates or adjust the contracts' duration as necessary. Notably, the DFC eligibility criteria stipulate that no single 90-day contract will be opened for ETFs, ensuring compliance with established regulations.
