Hub Power Company Limited Announces Postal Ballot and Electronic Voting Provision

Karachi: The Hub Power Company Limited has announced the publication of a postal ballot paper and the availability of an electronic voting facility for its shareholders. This move follows the notice of an Extraordinary General Meeting posted by the company on July 16, 2025.

The postal ballot paper has been published nationwide in two newspapers, "Business Recorder" in English and "Nawa-i-Waqt" in Urdu, to inform shareholders as required under Regulation 8 of the Companies (Postal) Ballot Regulations, 2018. This step ensures that shareholders are well-informed about the voting process.

In accordance with Regulation 4 of the Companies (Postal) Ballot Regulations, 2018, the electronic voting facility will be accessible to eligible members of the company, aligning with the applicable legal framework. The introduction of this digital voting option aims to facilitate a more convenient and efficient voting process for shareholders.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the company has ensured compliance with the necessary regulations, further reinforcing transparency and shareholder engagement. Additionally, the TRE Certificate Holders of the Exchange have been informed accordingly.
