Karachi: Alhamra Islamic Stock Fund, under the management of MCB Investment Management Limited, has reported its financial results for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2025, reflecting significant growth in both assets and net asset value per unit. This was disclosed following a Board of Directors meeting held at the Head Office in Karachi on August 4, 2025, at 3:00 p.m.

The total assets of Alhamra Islamic Stock Fund have reached 6.79 billion, a very large or significant move from the previous year’s total of 4.13 billion. This increase is primarily attributed to a rise in investments, which now stand at 5.92 billion, compared to 3.89 billion the previous year. Balances with banks also showed a very large or significant move, growing to 835.62 million from 204.97 million.

The liabilities of the fund have increased to 355.85 million from 52.65 million, with payables against the purchase of investments contributing significantly to this rise. Despite this increase, the net assets of the fund have expanded to 6.44 billion from 4.08 billion, marking another very large or significant move.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the fund's net asset value per unit has seen a very large or significant move, rising to 24.02 from 15.13. The number of units in issue decreased slightly to 267,867,506 from 269,683,354, signifying a minor move.

The management has opted not to disclose earnings per unit, citing impracticality in calculating the weighted average number of units. The report includes comprehensive statements such as the Statement of Assets and Liabilities, Statement of Profit and Loss, and other financial documents to provide a detailed overview of the fund's performance.

The fund operates within the designated market category of asset management, focusing on Islamic investment avenues, and continues to play a significant role in providing Sharia-compliant investment opportunities.
