First Credit and Investment Bank Ltd Approves Financial Statements and Reappoints Auditors

Karachi: The First Credit and Investment Bank Limited (FCIBL) announced the approval of its audited financial statements for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2025, during its 36th Annual General Meeting held on October 4, 2025. The meeting, in adherence to the regulations outlined in the Rule Book of the Pakistan Stock Exchange, also saw the reappointment of the statutory auditors.

The resolutions passed at the meeting included the approval and adoption of the audited financial statements, which encompassed the Directors' Report, Chairman Review, Auditors' reports, and compliance statements with Public Sector Companies (Corporate Governance) Rules 2013 and Listed Companies (Code of Corporate Governance) Regulations 2019. These documents were unanimously approved by the shareholders.

In addition, the meeting concluded with the reappointment of M/s. Muniff Ziauddin & Co., Chartered Accountants, as the statutory auditors for the upcoming fiscal year ending June 30, 2025. Their remuneration was set at Rs.950,000, excluding applicable taxes and actual out-of-pocket expenses, which are capped at 10% of the fee.

The decisions taken during the meeting reflect FCIBL's adherence to corporate governance practices and financial transparency. According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), these resolutions are now in effect, showcasing the bank's commitment to maintaining robust financial oversight and compliance with regulatory standards.
