Fecto Cement Ltd Completes Land Sale Near Islamabad Airport, Proceeds to Fund Expansion Projects

Karachi: Fecto Cement Limited has announced the completion of a significant transaction involving the sale of its investment property near Islamabad International Airport. The transaction, which was finalized on November 6, 2025, marks a pivotal moment for the company as it seeks to channel the proceeds into future development initiatives.

The property, comprising 124.625 kanals, was sold to M/s Faisal Town (Private) Limited. The sale was initially approved by the Board of Directors on September 25, 2025, and subsequently ratified by the company's members via a special resolution at the 44th Annual General Meeting on October 27, 2025. The meeting took place at Southend Club, Karachi, where officials resolved to authorize key company executives to manage the execution of all related documentation.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the sale aligns with the regulatory requirements set forth in Clause 5.6.1(a) of the PSX Rule Book and Section 96 of the Securities Act, 2015. Fecto Cement Limited has confirmed the receipt of the full sale proceeds, which will be strategically utilized to support prospective expansion and Balancing, Modernization, and Replacement (BMR) projects. These initiatives aim to enhance the company's production capacity, operational efficiency, and profitability.
