Lahore: NETSOL Technologies Ltd has announced a significant agreement with the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, valued at over PKR 500 million, to advance the province's Paperless Government Project. The deal, funded by the World Bank, marks the initiation of the project's next phase, focusing on scaling automation and enhancing secure inter-agency integrations for improved decision-making processes.

The agreement was disclosed on November 7, 2025, by NETSOL Technologies, a company listed in the designated market category of the Pakistan Stock Exchange. According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the project builds on the success of Phase I, which digitized essential governmental processes such as Summaries to the Chief Minister and Cabinet workflows.

Salim Ghauri, the Chief Executive Officer of NETSOL Technologies, emphasized the impact of the project, stating, "This milestone moves digital governance from promise to practice: faster service delivery, fewer manual touch points and clear, auditable decision trails across government." The initiative is expected to enhance transparency, accountability, and efficiency in government operations.
