KSB Pumps Reports Significant Financial Fluctuations Amid Strong Sales Growth

Lahore: KSB Pumps Company Limited has released its financial results for the year ending December 2025, revealing a notable increase in sales alongside significant fluctuations in other financial metrics. The company reported sales of 6.58 billion PKR, a 14.0% rise from the previous year’s 5.78 billion PKR, indicating a big move in sales performance.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the cost of sales increased by 9.2% to 5.02 billion PKR from 4.59 billion PKR, impacting the overall gross profit. The gross profit for the period stood at 1.57 billion PKR, up from 1.18 billion PKR, marking a very large or significant move of 32.7%.

Further analysis of the financials shows that distribution and marketing expenses grew by 13.0%, reaching 590 million PKR from the previous year’s 522 million PKR. Administration expenses also experienced a big move with a 25.7% increase, totaling 441 million PKR compared to 351 million PKR last year.

KSB Pumps reported a drastic change in net impairment loss on financial assets, which increased to 274 million PKR from a prior gain of 5 million PKR, signifying a very large or significant move. Other operating expenses saw an 847.7% increase, amounting to 100 million PKR from 11 million PKR, further highlighting significant financial shifts.

The company’s profit from operations (EBIT) decreased by 31.9%, amounting to 298 million PKR from 438 million PKR. Financial costs, however, decreased significantly by 93.1%, dropping to 20 million PKR from 295 million PKR. This helped improve the profit before taxation to 278 million PKR from last year’s 143 million PKR.

Taxation expenses slightly decreased to 68 million PKR from 87 million PKR. Consequently, the profit for the period rose to 210 million PKR from 55.9 million PKR, with earnings per share increasing to 6.80 PKR from 2.85 PKR, reflecting a considerable improvement in shareholder returns.

KSB Pumps’ financial performance illustrates a complex picture of growing sales and profits despite encountering significant increases in impairment losses and operating expenses, as seen in their latest financial disclosures.
