Karachi: The Pakistan Stock Exchange has announced a revised trading and settlement schedule for Askari Bank Limited, following the announcement of book closure dates for the company. The changes will affect the trading and settlement periods for Deliverable Future Contracts (DFC) in both August and September 2026, as per the report released on July 31, 2026.
According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the trading and settlement schedule on a cum-benefit basis for the DFCs of Askari Bank Limited will now open on June 1, 2026, a Monday, and close on August 5, 2026, a Wednesday, with settlement occurring on August 6, 2026, a Thursday. For the September contract, trading and settlement will similarly open on June 29, 2026, a Monday, closing also on August 5, 2026, and settling on the following day.
Furthermore, the trading and settlement schedule without the entitlement of benefit will commence on August 3, 2026, a Friday, for both the AUGB and SEPB contracts. The AUGB contract will close on August 28, 2026, a Friday, with settlement on August 31, 2026, a Monday. Similarly, the SEPB contract will close on September 25, 2026, a Friday, with settlement on September 28, 2026, a Monday.
These changes have been prompted by Askari Bank Limited's book closure dates, necessitating adjustments to the trading calendar to accommodate the corporate action.
