Karachi: A series of transactions involving substantial shareholders of TPL Properties Limited have been recorded, revealing notable movements in shareholding. The transactions, executed by Muhammad Ali Jameel and TPL Corp Limited, indicate significant activity in the company's shares during late July 2026.
On July 21, 2026, Muhammad Ali Jameel, a substantial shareholder, sold 1,000,000 shares at a rate of Rs. 13.23 per share, altering his cumulative shareholding to 35.78 million shares, representing 6.38% of the total. This transaction marked a significant move in the shareholder's portfolio.
The following day, on July 22, 2026, Jameel acquired 800,000 shares at Rs. 13.49 each. The activity continued on July 27, 2026, with Jameel buying 2,500,000 shares at Rs. 13.26 and subsequently selling the same number of shares at Rs. 13.12.
Meanwhile, on the same day, TPL Corp Limited also engaged in buying and selling activities. The corporation purchased 1,500,000 shares at Rs. 13.26 and sold an equivalent amount at Rs. 13.12. According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), TPL Corp Limited's cumulative shareholding stands at 175.07 million shares, accounting for 31.20% of the company's shares.
The transactions were conducted through the Central Depository System (CDS) in the future market. These activities are slated for review at an upcoming Board meeting, where compliance issues, if any, will be addressed as mandated by clause No. 5.6.4 of PSX Regulations.
