Karachi: Service Industries Limited (SRVI) has announced a significant adjustment in the face value of its shares, reducing it from PKR 10 to PKR 1, according to a report dated August 17, 2026. This strategic move is set to take effect following a single day of book closure scheduled for Saturday, August 22, 2026. The announcement was made via a letter dated August 6, 2026, and was disseminated through the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) website.
To accommodate this change, trading in SRVI shares will be subject to a modified settlement cycle of T+0, or same-day settlement, on Friday, August 21, 2026, the day prior to book closure. Normal trading operations with the T+1 settlement cycle will recommence from Monday, August 24, 2026.
According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the opening price of SRVI shares on August 24 will be adjusted to one-tenth of the closing price from August 21.
