Karachi: An independent director of Nimir Industrial Chemicals Limited executed a series of share transactions, as disclosed in a report dated September 14, 2026. The transactions were carried out under the compliance framework established by the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX).
According to the report, Javaid Bashir Sheikh, an independent director of the company, purchased a total of 12,000 shares on September 10, 2026. The transactions were executed electronically through the Central Depository Company (CDC) in a ready market format. The details of the acquisitions include two separate purchases of 2,000 shares each at Rs. 271.00 and Rs. 272.95 per share, followed by a third purchase of 8,000 shares at Rs. 273.00 per share.
According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), these transactions are compliant with Regulation No. 5.6.4, which governs the disclosure of interest under PSX regulations. The company has confirmed that the holding period for these shares exceeds six months. Should the holding period be less than six months, the law requires a deposit of any profits with the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP), as per Section 105 of the Securities Act, 2015.
The designated market category for these transactions is the ready market, where shares are traded electronically, ensuring transparency and efficiency in the trading process. The company has also informed the TRE Certificate holders of the exchange about these transactions.
