Karachi: The substantial shareholder of Dandot Cement Company Limited, Calicom Industries (Pvt) Limited, has executed a significant transaction involving the acquisition of additional shares, as disclosed in a report dated September 15, 2026. This acquisition was made through the Central Depository Company (CDC) on September 14, 2026.

According to the details provided, Calicom Industries acquired 70,735,574 shares at a rate of 21.62 per share. This transaction was categorized as "Other Than Right" and has resulted in Calicom Industries holding a cumulative total of 299,758,651 shares, which constitutes a 77.44% stake in the company.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), this move represents a very large or significant move in terms of percentage increase in the shareholding of Calicom Industries in Dandot Cement Company Limited.
