Karachi: Standard Chartered Bank (Pakistan) Limited has announced the crediting of a 30% interim cash dividend to its shareholders for the year ending December 31, 2026. According to the bank's report dated September 15, 2026, the Board of Directors approved the dividend in their 123rd meeting on August 21, 2026. The dividend amounts to Rs. 3 per share and was credited on September 14, 2026, directly into the designated bank accounts of shareholders who have provided complete and correct information.
According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the bank has adhered to the regulatory requirements set by the Companies Act, 2017 and the Companies (Distribution of Dividends) Regulations, 2017. In compliance with these regulations, dividends have been withheld for shareholders who have not provided accurate or complete bank account details, including a valid International Bank Account Number (IBAN).
Shareholders whose dividends are withheld are advised to contact the bank's Share Registrar or the Central Depository Company of Pakistan Limited’s Broker/Participant/Investor Account Services. They are required to provide a legible copy of their valid Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC) and complete bank account details to receive their cash dividend.
The interim cash dividend notices are set to be published in "Business Recorder" and "Express Urdu" newspapers on Wednesday, September 16, 2026.
