Hascol Petroleum Limited Submits Shariah Compliance Disclosures Amidst Financial Report Release

Karachi: Hascol Petroleum Limited, a prominent entity within the petroleum industry, has formally submitted its Shariah compliance disclosures for the half-year period ending June 30, 2026. The submission, in accordance with PSX Regulation 5.6.9A, was made in response to a directive from the Pakistan Stock Exchange dated September 11, 2026.

The disclosure highlights various financial aspects of the company's operations. For the period in question, Hascol reported long-term loans on the liability side amounting to 4.41 billion rupees, while short-term loans stood at 6.19 billion rupees, both figures reflecting the company's financial strategy. Additionally, lease liabilities were recorded at 3.34 billion rupees, with accrued interest or mark-up totaling 9.72 billion rupees.

On the asset side, the company's short-term investments remained constant at 100,800 rupees. Bank balances, however, saw a notable increase from 572.33 million rupees as of December 31, 2025, to 608.12 million rupees by June 30, 2026.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), Hascol's revenue from business segments for the six-month period ending June 30, 2026, was recorded at 102.03 billion rupees, reflecting a very large or significant move compared to the previous year's figure of 93.15 billion rupees. The company's finance cost for the same period was noted at 471.81 million rupees.
