Karachi: Interloop Limited announced that its Sustainability Report for the year ended June 30, 2026, will be issued separately from its Annual Report by March 31, 2027. This decision follows the relaxation of a nine-month period granted by the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) as per an order issued on December 31, 2024.
The company has confirmed that the forthcoming report will include disclosures required under the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) S1 and S2. These standards pertain to the disclosure of sustainability-related financial information and climate-related disclosures, respectively. This move aligns with the SECP's directive for companies to adopt the International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB) Sustainability Standards.
According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), Interloop Limited's compliance with these regulations is aimed at enhancing transparency and providing stakeholders with comprehensive insights into the company’s sustainability practices.
Interloop Limited has requested the TRE Certificate Holders of the Exchange to be informed about the separate issuance of the Sustainability Report.
