Lahore: Worldcall Telecom Limited (WTL) has been reinstated to the Normal Counter of the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) following a court order. This development comes after a sequence of legal proceedings, including an earlier decision that placed the company in the Non-Compliant Segment.
According to the report issued on September 22, 2026, by the PSX, WTL was initially relegated to the Non-Compliant Segment on September 15, 2026, following a ruling by the Civil Judge in Lahore. The decision was based on the dismissal of WTL's application for interim relief under the Civil Procedure Code, Order XXXIX Rules 1 & 2.
Subsequently, the District Judge in Lahore issued an order on September 22, 2026, suspending the previous ruling. As a result, WTL has been shifted back to the Normal Counter of the PSX, effective September 23, 2026.
According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), this shift is contingent on further decisions by the Honorable Court. All parties involved have been advised to take note of this change.
The designated market category for this development remains the regulatory framework of the Pakistan Stock Exchange.
